Emerson Joseph is one year old! Woo Hoo! Here are the things Emerson can do a year later:
Walk! Emerson started walking a week before his first birthday. Now he walks pretty much nonstop.
Enjoys brushing his teeth.
Likes to turn light switches on and off.
Knows some of his routines and the order things happen. Especially when it comes to bedtime.
Eats a lot of table foods. Has trouble with the texture of real fruits and vegetables.
Loves any form of a potato.
Feeds himself by hand and is starting to like to hold a spoon.
Loves to drink out of an open mouth cup but is getting better with a sippy cup.
Has started drinking cows milk and seems to like it.
Emerson is getting his 9th tooth.
Sleeps through the night 98% of the time.
Loves music and likes to dance.
Continues to be pals with Gus. He likes to pet him and give him hugs. He also tries to "share" Gus' bed and toys.
Is obsessed with dogs! He points them out when they're on things he sees while we're shopping.
Can now say: Dada, Mama, Dog, Gus, Ball and This.
Is babbling more and more.
Can recognize things and some people and point them out when asked.
Gives kisses when you ask him to.
Knows when he's being funny, can be quite the little ham when he knows you are laughing at him.
Likes to put his clothes in the hamper.
Will point to things he wants or where he wants you to take him.
We can't believe what a difference a year makes. Our little man is so big!
