The other night Robert had Emerson in his lap and Gus was sitting next to them on the couch. Emerson has been noticing and watching Gus for several weeks now. He watches him as he walks around the room and sometimes Gus will come up and sniff E while he's in his bouncy seat. A few times we have "helped" Emerson pet Gus. Well, on this night Emerson was really staring at Gus and started reaching out for him. He petted him a little and grabbed some hair. Gus was very patient through the whole thing. Luckily we had the camera nearby. Here are some photos of the exchange:

I'm sitting here in my office looking at these photos of Gus, Little E, and my boy Deuce, and they're making me feel almost "girl drunk" where I'm like too sensitive and emotional.
Because all these photos of this happy little guy are almost too much to take and I'm overloaded with cuteness.
Nicely done, you two. I'm completely worthless at work because I can't stop looking at these. If I'm fired, I'm coming to live at your house. And don't worry about me, with how warm and fuzzy you've got me feeling, I'll just curl up and sleep in your sock drawer.
