The Many Names of Emerson

So I'm a nickname person and Robert isn't really. This made choosing a name for our child challenging. We'd find a name we liked and then I'd say "well, what will we call him?" and Robert would say the name. LOL. Finally, we got down to Grant and Emerson. Now neither of these have obvious nicknames. So, we decided we'd name him Emerson and that nicknames would come on their own and people would call him different things. Little did we know that soon our little tyke would have so many nicknames. Here's a list of Emerson's current nicknames:

• E - I call him this and other people have definitely started to too including Oma Teresa and other friends.
• Little Man - this is what his Daddy calls him
• Guy Smiley - Robert and I call him this because he smiles so much
• Em'son - his Stevenson nickname given to him by his cousin Kolby
• EJ - Grandpa Mark
• Easy E - Uncle Matt but other friends have started using this one too
• E-Train - courtesy of Mikey and Sarah
• Sonny Joe - Gramster (my mom's mom) started calling him this when he was still in the hospital
• Sudsie - some people still like the utero nickname
• Mr Squishy Face - Auntie B (Brigid) has called him this since we brought him home

And I'm sure there are others that I'm forgetting right now. And I was worried he wouldn't have a nickname....
