This past weekend was pretty busy. Friday night we had Grandma Debbie's visitation. Saturday morning we woke up early and bundled up prior to attending her funeral, burial and wake. I saw a lot of people I hadn't seen since I was a little girl. Why is it that you always reconnect with people at funerals?
After the wake we dropped Emerson off at Sir and Oma's and headed home to relax and have a nap. An hour later we woke up to get ready for our friends Jon & Kristin's wedding. We headed downtown to meet some friends for a little pre-party and then walked over to the Curtis Hotel. The ceremony was beautiful and quick. Their reception followed with lots of dancing and chatting with good friends. We had an awesome time and found ourselves climbing into bed at 2 am Sunday morning throughly exhausted. Needless to say, Saturday was an emotional day.
Sunday we ran a few errands and relaxed at home. Robert went to the Rockies game with Mikey but Emerson and I stayed home since it was too cold. Last night Robert was back at Coors Field for Game 4. Too bad the Rockies blew it.
