While we were in Texas Aaron (aka Short) gave us our Christmas present. He did this wonderful drawing of Emerson and Gus. He did it based on a photo I took of Emerson one morning while he and Gus were playing on the floor. We love this photo because it shows what buddies Gus and Emerson are. Plus Emerson is so joyful in this photo. It was a great one for Aaron to sketch. We are amazed by his talent and so grateful that he took the time to make this keepsake for us. We will treasure it always.

I told them that the art was not the hard part...The hard part was closing my eyes had I had to draw the New York Giants logos all over his outfit...Stupid Giants! Maybe the Cowboys can win the Super Bowl now since the Giants won the year the Cowboys beat them 2 times...:)
