First Ear Infection

On the morning of Tuesday, February 23rd I went to fetch Emerson from his crib and he felt warm. I took his temperature and it was 101 so it appeared he and mommy would be staying home for the day. I gave him some Tylenol and we cuddled until we feel back asleep. Once he woke up he seemed better but after a 3 hour nap (not usual!) he awoke burning up. I took his temp and it was now almost 103 degrees. So I called the doctor and we were on our way to the last appointment of the day. The doctor checked him out and it was an ear infection. Just as mommy suspected! Emerson spent the next couple of days fighting 103 and 104 fevers and trying to get better. Finally, on my birthday we had our little boy back!
