Week 32

Eight Months. Ah Ah Ah.
Another week, another milestone. Month 8! Here's what BabyCenter.com has to say about this week:

By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, he'll gain a third to half of his birth weight during the next 7 weeks as he fattens up for survival outside the womb.

Let's see, not a lot has happened since the last post. We returned our crib Tuesday night and they're ordering us another one. It should be here late next week or so. Robert has started to sand the rocking chair and get it ready to paint. This weekend he's going to start getting the house ready to install the laminate flooring next weekend. I think we'll both feel better once that's done as it's the last BIG project before Sudsie arrives.

We went to the doctor on Tuesday for our check up. I had gained 4 pounds so the doctor was happy. My belly is measuring right on the money and my blood pressure is great. We have an ultrasound scheduled for this Tuesday to see how Sudsie's growth is. We'll post pictures once we have them.

We've both had an insane week at work and are very much looking forward to the weekend! TGIF!

why did you have to return the crib?

We got our crib and when we went to put it together there was this two inch long piece on the top of the side rail where the paint had chipped off. So poor Robert had to box the pieces back up and we had to schlep it back to BRU. They reordered another one and it should take 2 weeks...like it did to get the first one. Oh well, at least this one won't be chipped.
